Katt Williams, LL Cool J & Flavor Flav Weigh In On Diddy’s Arrest

It’s been nearly a week since the FBI detained Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at a New York City hotel. The internet streets have been buzzing with think pieces, recaps, and breakdowns of his sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Several celebrities have also weighed in on the producer’s legal issues, with some of the latest being Katt Williams, LL Cool J, Flavor Flav, and Ray J

Katt Williams Called It & Now He’s Saying THIS

On Saturday (Sept. 21), Katt shared an AI-edited clip on his Instagram Stories that shows his, Diddy’s, and Jay-Z’s faces on characters in a court scene. The AI version of Combs proceeds to “name” someone from the stand, while Williams and Jay’s AI versions appear shocked.  In white-colored text, Katt Williams wrote, “Diddy about to snitch on everybody” on the video, adding laughing emojis.

If you’re just tuning in, Brother Love is sitting behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on pre-trial detention. His lawyers have described his holding conditions as “horrific.” At the same time, a retired warden of Brooklyn-MDC has affirmed that detention at the center is “cold” and rigid, with limited outside access. His legal team has reassured fans, though, that they’re prepping for trial while the producer maintains a “strong, healthy, confident” demeanor.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s apparent downfall is a situation Katt Williams previously claimed he saw coming. The comedian’s interview with Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’ shook the internet during its January 2024 release. In the last few days, two clips about Katt seemingly speaking on Diddy’s “Freak-Offs” habits have been going viral.

“Now I’ve had to turn down $50 million four times just to protect my integrity and that virgin hole I was telling you about. Cause P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you gotta tell him no. You’ve got to tell him no. I did,” Williams said in the interview.

In a second clip, Katt spoke about all the “big d**k deviants catching hell in 2024,” and he name-dropped Diddy. “All lies will be exposed, and anyone who takes that the wrong way know why they take that the wrong way,” Williams said.

Those same clips first resurfaced online in March when the feds raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami. This week, prosecutors revealed that the raids led to evidence discovery related to Sean Combs’ alleged “Freak-Offs.” That evidence log reportedly includes firearms, ammunition, and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

LL Cool J & Flavor Flav Give Similar Reactions To Diddy’s Charges

Both LL Cool J and Flavor Flav weighed in on Diddy’s legal troubles while walking the red carpet for the Black Music Action Coalition Gala on Sept. 19 in Los Angeles.

The entertainers, who walked the carpet independently, didn’t have much to say about the accusations Sean Combs is facing. However, LL Cool J highlighted Diddy’s seven children, including Christian, Justin, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie, Love, and stepson Quincy Brown.

“I feel for his children, the rest, I mean we can’t speak on. That’s what we got court system for, but I feel for his kids,” J told Sky News.

For context, the producer’s sons pulled up to court for their dad twice this week, during the arraignment and during his appeal for bail. Two Manhattan judges denied Diddy’s $50 million home detention proposal, which included an offer to surrender his, his mother’s, and four daughters’ passports. Sources recently told TMZ that Combs is worried about his kids, and though he can receive visitation periodically, it’s unclear if he’s been able to call them.

As for Flavor Flav, like LL Cool J, he refused to speak on allegations against the Hip Hop mogul. “When anybody asks me my opinion on Diddy, you know what my opinion is, I have none. I got no answers for a Diddy question. None,” Flav stated.

Ray J Speaks On Entertainment Industry’s Reaction To Arrest

As for Ray J, the singer appeared on News Nation and spoke about the entertainment industry’s reaction to Diddy’s arrest. Ray said the slow trickle of reactions and silence is a result of Hollywood still trying to “digest” the news. Additionally, he shared that this is the time to come together and learn rather than divide.

“I just feel like a lot are in shock; a lot of people are dealing with it in their own ways. But in times like these, we should come together, we should talk about it as a community. It’s easy to divide and point fingers, but unity is where you build. You can have a stronger future for the culture. I mean Diddy’s been an icon for decades. We’ve all listened to his music, we’ve all been around him, at least in my era. We’ve all looked up to him and in this situation, it’s super unfortunate, but it’s important to learn a lesson right now and ensure the next generation knows how to move differently.”

Moreover, Ray J shared that he and other celebrities have never been privy to the alleged dark side of Combs’ parties.“We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being and the stuff that people are finding out, like, I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed,” Ray said, adding, “And a lot of people in the industry can agree with me on that sense.”

Aside from Katt Williams, LL Cool J, Flavor Flav, and Ray J, Method Man has also recently addressed what’s going on with P. Diddy.
