Christina Hall Arrives on Set of ‘The Flip Off’ Without Estranged Husband Josh: PHOTOS

Christina Hall appears to be in good spirits as she continues to film her highly anticipated new HGTV series The Flip Off without her estranged husband Josh Hall. 

The Christina on the Coast star, 41, was spotted arriving on set of the upcoming house flipping competition show that was originally set to star Christina and Josh, 43, facing off against Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 42, and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa, 36. 

Christina was all smiles when she got to the Orange County, Calif. location and greeted crew members with a hug on Aug. 7. Though Josh was absent from the filming setup, HGTV has yet to confirm if he has officially exited the series. He filed for divorce from Christina on July 15, just two months after the show was announced.

On July 23, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina had returned to filming the series, set to premiere in 2025, without Josh. 

When HGTV first announced the show in May 2024, the network described the concept would see the two couples “throw down” to see who can “find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.”

Josh was featured in a few of the over-the-top promo videos for the show that were rolling out on social media in the weeks following the announcement, but far less so than the other three stars.

Since then, Josh has unpinned all the promo videos that he was featured in from the main page of his Instagram account.

The new show has longtime fans of Christina and Tarek buzzing as it marks the exes’ first time reuniting since their original series Flip or Flop ended after nine years in March 2022. Though the pair split in 2016, they continued filming together for several more seasons of the hit show.

Christina previously teased the possibility of her second husband, Ant Anstead, potentially replacing Josh in The Flip Off in response to a fan’s Instagram comment suggesting he step in. “LOL that would be a genius ‘ratings’ idea just sayin,” she wrote.

She clarified her remark in a video from Backgrid: “I can’t work with any more exes. I already work with Tarek,” she said, before adding, “Maybe season two.”

Christina’s recent return to filming comes days after Josh was spotted moving his belongings out of the Newport Beach, Calif. home that he shared with his estranged wife and her three children. The HGTV star shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with Tarek, and son Hudson, 4, with Anstead.

On Aug. 4, the former police officer was seen transporting his prized possessions — including his motorcycles, a vintage Chevelle and a vintage DeLorean — off of the property less than three weeks after he filed for divorce citing  “irreconcilable differences,” according to the filing obtained by PEOPLE. 

While he requested spousal support from the designer, Christina followed up by requesting neither party receive spousal support in a filing of her own on July 24.
