Lance Bass and ‘Full House’ Stars Team Up for Hilarious Skit

Lance Bass treated fans to quite the ’90s nostalgia moment after he ran into some Full House alums.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, the *NSYNC alum, 45, shared a hilarious skit on his Instagram page which featured appearances from fellow ’90s kids Jodie Sweetin, who starred as Stephanie Tanner in Full House, and Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler, the best friend of D.J. Tanner.

“When the roadtrip pit stop turns into a 90s sitcom crossover episode,” Bass wrote over the post.

In the video, the singer cartoonishly pretends to confront the two women, lip-syncing to an audio that says: “Hey man, watch where you’re going!” before Sweetin and Barber turn around and say “My bad!” to cheers and applause, pretending to be the special guest stars in a cheesy sitcom.

Bass captioned the post: “The TGIF crossover you never knew you needed.”

Although they both had massive pop culture moments in the ’90s, Full House and *NSYNC have seen renewed success in recent years.

In December 2016, much of the cast of Full House returned for a revival series — aptly named Fuller House — which followed D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) raising her three sons with the help of her sister Stephanie (Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Barber). Through the series, other main players including Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) came back to say hello.

Both Sweetin and Barber have been candid about how they bonded on set, during both the original show’s run from 1987 to 1995, as well as the Netflix revival.

On a June episode of their Full House rewatch podcast, How Rude, Tanneritos!, the actresses chatted about how they had to try not to “break” while filming their comedic scenes.

“We would make each other laugh,” Sweetin said. “We would have these stupid bits between Stephanie and Kimmy that we’d have to do — particularly in Fuller House.”

“We’d be wearing some ridiculous costume or something,” she continued, “and I was like, ‘Just look at my forehead. Like, don’t look me in the eye because … if you look me in the eye, we’re — it’s all bad.’ ”

“The forehead is a great place to look when you’re trying to keep it together,” Sweetin added.

*NSYNC, meanwhile, saw a major revival in the charts this past summer — thanks in part to “Bye Bye Bye” being featured on the Deadpool & Wolverine movie soundtrack.

Last month, the hit pop song broke into the Top 10 of Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, following the action-comedy’s July 26 release. Per Billboard, “Bye Bye Bye” re-entered the music charts and climbed to the No. 8 position, up from No. 16 the week prior.

Former band members JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Bass previously celebrated the release of Deadpool & Wolverine at the movie’s New York City premiere on July 22, alongside stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman — and Reynolds, 47, even thanked the boyband for allowing the production to use their hit song.

“These guys had such a huge hand in making a particular Deadpool & Wolverine sequence one of my all-time favorites,” he wrote on social media after the film’s premiere. “Can’t thank them enough for their kindness, talent and good fellowship.”
