Paralympics 2024 LIVE Updates: The women’s javelin throw F46 final and men’s shot put F57 final events are currently underway. India’s Bhavanaben Ajabaji Chaudhary is competing in javelin, while Soman Rana and Hokato Hotozhe Sema are the Indian athletes in the men’s event. Earlier, long jumper Praveen Kumar won India’s sixth gold medal at Paris Paralympics 2024 in the men’s T64 event. Praveen scripted a new Asian record with an attempt of 2.08m, which was also his best attempt of the event, on his way to the gold medal. Praveen took India’s medal tally to 26. (Medals Tally)

Paris Paralympics 2024 Live: Soman Rana disappoints!
Soman Rana scored 13.32, 14.07, 13.83, 13.79, 13.80 and 13.86 metres in his six attempts. He is currently at the third spot but it is hard for him to stay there as 8 more athletes are yet to take their attempts.
